Jack is uncurling and sliding up Sam’s long body, wrapping his arms around Sam’s broad chest as he rests his head in the hollow of Sam’s throat. Castiel is pressing himself close along Sam’s back, strong arms wrapped around so tight, all of their legs now tangled together. The two distinctive voices, one soft and innocent, the other gruff and eternal, they heap words of praise and love into Sam’s ear, letting him know that without him they would be lost, that he is their stalwart rock, that what he has accomplished is greater than most who are held in high esteem by the greatest historians. Especially since most of Sam’s actions have gone unnoticed by the overwhelming majority of the vast population of this world. He’s helped to stop the apocalypse on more than one occasion, he’s almost the single greatest person to have ever roamed this earth.
