В комментах на ютубе называют Сэма лицемером - да что там, мой собственный софандомец называет Сэма лицемером!
"Нет, Дин, в тех же обстоятельствах я не стал бы спасать тебя", - говорит Сэм; а потом лезет из кожи вон, чтобы избавить брата от Печати Каина.
Но дьявол, как обычно, в деталях, и уточнение про "обстоятельства" там вовсе не зря.
Если бы Сэм умер, завершив Испытания - это был бы подвиг со смертельным исходом, как, в общем-то, и положено подвигам; но вышло как вышло, и даже так он сделал всё, что мог, выложился по полной и сверх того, подтвердил делом все свои принципы.
Сам Смерть счел за честь проводить его.
Дин лишил его права уйти как герой, обманом выдернул обратно, убил Кевина его руками.
Всё еще непонятно, почему Сэм злится?
Я не виню Дина. "Береги Сэмми" было вколочено в него с детства - не исключено что в буквальном смысле. Позволить Сэму умереть означало пойти против этого, против отца, против себя (но, Дин, ты же смог однажды! Клетка была хуже смерти - но ты отпустил его туда).
Возможно, кстати, именно поэтому на второй раз не хватило душевных сил.
Но я очень понимаю Сэма.
И, да: когда на самом деле настанет очередь Дина - Сэм не будет вцепляться ему в ворот, тащить зубами, вмешивать ангелов и демонов...

Sam recognized the look in Dean’s eyes when he got back to the motel. He was in one of those moods. Without any words passing between them, Sam put down his things and headed for the small bathroom, quickly and efficiently taking off all of his clothes.

“They’re right, Castiel.” Hannah stepped closer to Dean and Castiel watched the hunter snarl at her as he tried to shift away. “It is a sign of dominance. You’re our commander. We need to know you can lead and set an example. You need to show this human who is in charge so he doesn’t disobey again.”


“Bunch of horny angels wanting a free show.” Dean tried to knock the angel holding him in place away but Dean’s strength was no match, “Not enough to watch me getting my ass beat like a naughty child.” Pain was thick in Dean’s voice but Castiel had to ignore it.


If he faltered now millions or more lives could be lost in the war.


“Cas…” Sam’s voice trailed off when one of the angels holding him tightened their hold.


“Quiet!” one of them hissed at Sam and Castiel blinked as several angels regarded Sam, “Maybe this one should be punished as well.”


Sam’s eyes widened in shocked horror and Dean immediately started protesting as Castiel stared at Dean’s vulnerable form.


The hand holding the paddle hung at his side as he turned to look at the room. His brothers and sisters kept their gazes fixed on him, expressions expectant and hopeful that he would continue with the “punishment”.


“We’ll stay if you prove yourself.” They started murmuring and Castiel glanced over at Dean with a slightly hopeless expression. He couldn’t do that to Dean. “We need to see you’re committed.”
